On the 9th June 2018 I set off to Powderham, Devon to see a steam engine, 45212, on the Dartmouth Express. The day was a bit dull and overcast, but as always I wanted to make the most of the time there. I set about practicing my panning shots, and having a love of Class 43 HST's I kept a look out for them even though there was other classes running. By pure chance I took this image:

When getting home I was really pleased with it. A perfect perpendicular silhouette. It belongs to many for that moment in time, a sequence of the passage of the train as it heads towards Exeter:

On the 7th and 8th of March 2019, I was fortunate to capture her again at Axminster on diversion:


These being the images I’ve knowingly seen of 43018. Though I have spotted 43015 before, but didn’t get the number of the other trailing power car. Other images / videos I’ve not been able to make out the number.
